Do Dogs Dream?

Yes! Research suggests that dogs do dream. You can tell your dog may be dreaming if their legs are moving in their sleep like they are running. Also if they are whining, breathing heavily, or even barking, accompanied by normal rapid eye movement, it can all suggest your dog is dreaming.

Howling is a form of communication for your dog. Dogs can exhibit this behaviour when they’re stressed or due to territorial issues, or it can just be to get their owner’s attention and announce their presence. Some breeds, like Huskies, simply howl for enjoyment!
