“I brought Clemmie to Platinum K9 for training just because I wanted to build healthy relationships between her and my children so we can enjoy her and so she can have fun with the kids. 

“To be honest I have been really rubbish with discipline when it comes to Clemmie and I just needed that help because she just had free roam of the house. She just didn’t have any discipline whatsoever and with having the baby and having a very busy household we just needed to implement some boundaries.”

Results: “I have been so reassured and comforted every step of the way. It has been an amazing experience. They have been amazing and I’m so pleased that I did take that step.” 

Ayla’s Owners

“Ayla is a rescue dog and a very stubborn one at that! I struggled to control her in the house and she was reactive to people when out walking. Once she got into that red mist zone I struggled to control her. She was enrolled onto the aggressive dog course and it was quickly picked up, she is massively scared of everything. Dan spent a week with her gaining her trust and coaxing her out of the kennel. Then training began… at Ayla’s pace, which is so important. I can’t tell you how much of a difference the training has made.” 

Results: “We now have a dog that listens to us and we can control. She still has her funny little personality and we are pleased about that. Leaving your dog in the hands of strangers for 4 weeks is not easy, but the phone calls, texts, pictures and videos made it easier. Ayla will always be a nervous dog but now she knows we have boundaries. Dan established a real bond with Ayla and that meant the world to us.”

Frankie Bridge

“Before going to Platinum K9, Turbo specifically was really hard to take on walks. He would bark at cyclists, runners, other dogs, people just walking down the road, cars, so it was really difficult to take him out.

“Also, Turbo had a tendency to bite and he was really possessive over things and would guard things like treats, shoes, he would, if someone dropped something on the floor while we were eating dinner, he would bite you if he tried to pick it up. Leia was barking at everything and wouldn’t ever listen to anything we had to say.”

Results: “I’ve been able to take them for a walk without any reaction to any cars, cyclists, or runners, and it’s just made my relationship with them so much easier.”

Cooper’s Owners

“My dog, Cooper, has recently finished a three-week training programme with Platinum K9. Since I got him (as an adult dog), and he has always pulled and been reactive on the lead. Walks became anxiety inducing – not knowing what type of chaos he would cause. And things were only getting worse.”

Results: “Since getting home, Cooper has been walking perfectly on a lead. We have walked past other dogs with no reaction at all (unheard of before!). He has even made big improvements at home. He is like a different dog! I really am so happy with the progress he has made – I know this is the start of the journey for us, but I feel confident to continue the training. I also know I have the support of the trainers in a Whatsapp group if I need.”

Romesh Ranganathan

“I feel like just because of having three boys and just us being quite chilled out and relaxed and maybe a bit too relaxed is that we’ve got two dogs that were sort of ignoring us. Reggie in particular kind of had no recall whatsoever and so we live in quite a nice area where we want to be able to take them out and let them have a good time but we felt too scared to do that.

“The other big issue is every time you open the door, Reggie would go and then you basically kiss goodbye to about 2 hours of your day. We couldn’t have as much fun with them as we wanted to because we’re all just so nervous about what they were going to do if we gave them a bit of freedom.”

Results: “To see what Platinum K9 have done with him has been, it’s been a revelation. I would say if you’re in a situation with any kind of obedience issue and any kind of real serious issue that you feel like hasn’t been able to be sorted out previously, I feel like Platinum K9 are very well equipped to not only do that, but also look after you through the whole process. We’re really really impressed.”
