Jed has grown up around a wide variety of dogs but discovered his passion for dog training during a work experience placement at Platinum K9. He progressed onto part time summer work with us and now as a full-time residential trainer.
“I’m a big fan of German Shepherds and Malinois. They have a real presence that is matched by their ability to work in so many different disciplines. I am dedicated to developing my skills in dog training and behaviour modification”
Jed thinks the most rewarding aspect of the training dogs, is witnessing the positive change in their behaviour throughout the residential training course.
“I believe that a dog should not limit your life but enhance it. Effective training should empower owners to enjoy experiences with their dogs that previously weren’t possible. Good training has such a significant impact on both the owners and dog’s life”
Outside of work, Jed enjoys going to the gym, football and outward-bound activities.
