Hi there, it’s Leo Hjelde and I play football for Sunderland. 

So the issues I had with Dexter before we did the training was he would pull on the lead and obviously he was quite erratic around the house, sometimes he was jumping up on people while they were here. He was all over you, he’d never chill, just be in someone’s space and then on the walks, he would be pulling towards everything so he was just doing his own thing all the time and it was quite hard and quite exhausting to bring him out on walks cause he was just everywhere. Those were the main problems.

I chose Platinum K9 probably just cause I saw them on social media and seeing what type of people they dealt with before, and the magnitude of people they had done before as well. Then I just came in contact with them and set up a little consulting meeting where we went through Dexter, went on a walk with him and then a couple of weeks later they picked them up and began the training.

The experience I’ve had dealing with Platinum K9 has been really good. I think the most surprising thing was the constant updates and obviously Dexter came back as a totally different dog with the same demeanour, and I’ll say that’s really really been good cause obviously you’re quite anxious when your dog is away for a long time but it’s been constant updates. We had a group chat where we’ve been speaking pretty much every day. It felt like I was involved in the process the whole way. I would say that’s probably what I was most pleasantly surprised about. 

I would really recommend Platinum K9. I think dog owners know that having a dog away for a couple of weeks is not the most pleasant thing but I felt really involved in their whole training process so yeah it’s been really really good.
