Hi, I’m Rita Simons and you probably know me as Roxy Mitchell on EastEnders, now Marie Fielding on HollyOaks and a little bit of West End in between. 

So the issues I was having with Harry were relentlessly pulling on the lead like a tank. He was being quite aggressive to anyone that came to the house, anyone that looked at the house he was being aggressive to. The puppy that we’ve got, he was nicking all her toys and swallowing them whole and getting aggressive if she wanted them back and generally just obsessive sort of behavior; obsessed with the ball, obsessed with toys and obsessed with anyone coming within a mile of the house and going crazy. 

So I chose Platinum K9 because I’ve seen a lot of stuff of theirs online. I did so much research. I didn’t want a company that had any kind of really harsh training tactics. I know that Platinum K9 doesn’t do that and at no point have I seen or heard anything that would imply that there’s anything but strong direction to the dog, end of story. So I really liked that kind of tactic of training.

I’ve had non-stop communication there’s a WhatsApp group. I get constant updates, constant videos, constant pictures, everyday I’m told how Harry’s doing, so you know that you’re not just sort of dumping your dog off for a month and you don’t know what they’re up to. I’ve seen every step of the way what he’s up to. 

What pleasantly surprised me about the Platinum K9 experience was, I was really, really stressed out with Harry, it was really getting kind of ‘up to here’ and the way they just step in, took Harry for a month, did all the really hard work that I just wasn’t capable of doing, kept me informed every step of the way, I think that’s been a really special aspect to Platinum’s way of working.
