Hi, I’m Alex Yee and this is Liv. And we brought Jet into Platinum K9 for residential training. 

Before training, Jet was an extremely nervous dog. We struggled to take him out on walks and runs or even have people around because he was quite on edge and we could tell he was very uncomfortable. So, we wanted to improve his quality of life and give him the most enjoyable time when he’s out on walks and runs.

We’d seen a few videos online, a few other sports people and I got in contact with Tommy (Freeman) who’d bought his golden retriever here and yeah, he really recommended Platinum K9 and said that he had a really good experience. So, we went for it and yeah, we’re super glad that we did. I mean, I think our minds were put instantly at ease when Jet had always been very nervous of meeting new people, and Jon almost straight away kind of won over his trust. And I think from that point, we knew we were going to be in good hands and yeah, we’ve been the same ever since. We were really nervous to take Jet  like obviously to a new place for 4 weeks. It’s quite scary, but yeah, as soon as we got there after about 5 minutes, I was put at ease straight away. And Jon was really professional and this made us feel really comfortable with leaving Jet there for so long.

Our experience of Platinum K9 and taking Jet in was super positive. He’s come back as a completely transformed dog. We’ve just gone on a walk just now and to see his behavior and how comfortable he is in environments which he wouldn’t have gone to before is extremely positive and we owe that to you guys. He seems like a different dog when we’re out and about. Like there’s places that he wouldn’t walk into before that’s slightly busier than today he walked into. So yeah, we’re just super excited to be able to take him to these places now. 

I definitely think the training was good value for money. I don’t think you can put a price on a good quality of life for your dog and yeah, he’s come back a completely different dog, a lot more confident. So yeah, for sure I definitely recommend Platinum K9 to somebody in our position. Jet, like we said, has come back totally transformed even in just four weeks. So, it just shows what an amazing service it was and yeah, how effective the training’s been.
