Hi guys, I’m Louise Thompson. I am a podcaster and a broadcaster. I also wrote a book and I have decided to take Koji and Toto for training at Platinum K9.

Before Toto and Koji came to Platinum K9, we faced a few challenges with them. Some of the things that were problematic were there was a lot of barking. They were very disobedient on the lead. So they used to walk me and actually it got quite embarrassing because they would pull, they would bark, they’d get so excited they’d start winging and everybody would look. They were just fairly disruptive. I mean obviously I love them like my children. So they’re everything to me and I tried to train them when I first got them but life has just been so busy and has got in the way and their habits have gotten totally out of control and they were controlling us.

So our overall experience with Platinum K9 has been incredible. We love Ben. Ben came to the house to meet the dogs initially and was super informative. He told us everything about where they were going to be staying, what kinds of things they were going to be working on, and what was realistic within the 3 week boundary. Then we set up a group WhatsApp which has been amazing cuz we’ve actually been away a bit over the summer. And it’s been really nice to have that kind of constant contact if we needed it. And we’ve had weekly calls, so we’ve had updates and he can then educate us on, you know, what the dogs have been up to, but also how we’re going to be able to implement those new tools and techniques when we finally get the dogs back at the end. I’ve obviously missed the dogs a lot, but I felt like they’re in such safe hands, and I wasn’t expecting to notice as big a change as I have, and that’s the most impressive thing. 

I would absolutely recommend Platinum K9 to anybody I know that is a pet owner. And I’m not just saying that. Genuinely, I feel like I want to stand outside with a sign saying everybody needs dog training in their life! I always wondered how people could get their dogs to heal, to literally walk right by your left leg… and now we’re those people.
